[REPORT] LAW

Prior to making website, we should study about legal constraints.

If you create a website without any knowledge of the legal constraints, you may be punished. Because you didn’t know about that! Of course, studying legal constraints seems to be difficult. So I picked the three most important things of legal constraints which are needed when creating a website.

I’ll write a report with them : Law, Regulation and Standards!

These are important for other fields as well as creating web-site!
Among them,

today’s subject is Law!

Symbol of law and justice in the empty courtroom, law and justice concept.

Law

[Dictionary Definition]

The law is a system of rules that a society or government develops in order to deal with crime, business agreements, and social relationships.
You can also use the law to refer to the people who work in this system.

Explain in easy terms, we live by keeping order because of law.

For example, in the days when there was no law, murderers and robbers have not been punished.
People thought that the strong man dominate over the weak is reasonable.
That time have been corrected due to the law.

Of course, there are murderers and robbers in all ages. But these time, LAWs exist, too!
Therefore, now everyone think stealing and murder is not justified. This is the law’s role.

There are two concepts under the law.

First – Copyright

If you infringe a copyright, you will be punished.

Copyright is the right of the creator’s works, such as literary, artistic creations.
Government is legislate about copyright and administer tightly for people’s creative activity.

In Korea, It valid while the duration of creator’s life and until 50 years after the creator’s death. During this period, nobody use creator’s works without permission.
If someone use them without permission, they will be punished!

But we have to observe the proprieties even if the copyright runs out.
Sometimes bad people do evil deed to creator’s work.
Scribble on the drawing, edit ludicrous photos on the computer…
Of course, copyright is disappear.
But they will be punished because they infringe the author’s moral right.

If we respect the copyright each other, more nice work will come out 🙂

It means Public Liability Insurance.

Public Liability Insurance is National insurance that company to be given to keep the health and safety of employees.
Because employees have a right to work healthy and safety. It’s protected by law.

Employee’s fault is to say company’s fault.
Therefore, when an accident occurs on property or financial loss, company should have legal liability. Public Liability Insurance is for those situations.

I looked for some cases which applies to the insurance, in the insurance site.
